Proving value for money to donors

Providing affordable services and high-quality technical inputs are some of the ways to prove value for money, a criterion that big donors look for in the programs their partners propose.

This is what Nicole Barnes, vice president for business strategy and communications at RTI International, told Devex in this video interview.

Barnes, who is in charge of looking at overarching trends that affect the development landscape, said that donors like U.S. Agency for International Development, Department for International Development and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade all want value for money demonstrated in the proposals.
