South Korean aid group Join Together Society will ship 300 tons of flour, daily supplies and educational items to North Korea, which is reeling from severe food shortages. The ship will depart from Incheon April 10.
“The shipment will benefit some 12,000 marginalised people at 50 orphanages and other institutions across the country,” the group’s spokesman, Seo Dong-Woo, told Agence France-Presse.
