The Annual Action Program 2009 includes 305 million euros in budget support to be channeled under a so-called Millennium Development Goal contract. Tanzania is one of only seven African nations to have such an arrangement, which provides for a six-year financial commitment to support procedures and policies that pursue achievement of MDGs.
