Atop the Ericsson Globe arena, 130 meters above sea level, visitors get a breathtaking view of all of Stockholm. Getting there requires riding a glass gondola that run on rails outside up what is known as the world’s largest hemispherical building.
The project to install the gondolas, collectively called Stockholm’s SkyView, was helmed by Sweco. The company is among the oldest consultancies in the country and possibly even in Europe.
Sweco shares Stockholm with Sweden’s largest nonprofits and consulting firms, making the Swedish capital the country’s premier development hub. The nation’s bilateral agency, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, is likewise based here.
