Turkey's humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis

With the ongoing Syrian crisis, neighboring Turkey has risen up to be a “very generous host” to 1.6 million refugees and has become an emerging humanitarian aid donor, Kamal Malhotra said.

As Turkey’s U.N. Resident Coordinator and U.N. Development Program Resident Representative, Malhotra is part of the team that would implement the two-year Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan, a multisector, multicountry effort to help Syrian refugees.
