The U.K. Department for International Development has granted 5.7 million pounds (USD9.5 million) to fight graft in Zambia, Xinhua has learned from the Zambia Daily Mail. "All Zambians will therefore be looking to the implementation of government's national strategy and its guidelines on anti-corruption to provide the actions and the impact which will enhance the country's reputation," said Mike Hammond, who heads the DfID office in Zambia.
