The World Health Organization and UNICEF are seeking
for Sierra Leone. The United Nations agencies blamed the rising number of related deaths to a shortage of anti-malaria medicines and other supplies. "The fundamental thing is to strengthen the procurement and supply system," said Rumishael Shoo, head of child survival and development at UNICEF-Sierra Leone.
