    UN Gauges Damage of South Asian Cyclone

    is providing technical assistance to help determine the extent of the damage caused by cyclone Aila in southern Bangladesh. The World Food Program and World Health Organization are assisting the Bangladeshi government while the U.N. Development Program and UNICEF are helping India assess the destruction brought about by the cyclone.
