The U.S. Fund for UNICEF has named Veronica Pollard as its new senior vice president of marketing and communications.
Caryl Stern, president and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, hailed Pollard for her versatility and “dedication to the well-being of children worldwide.” Pollard formerly taught first grade students, led educational programs with Newsweek, reported for The San Francisco Chronicle, served as public relations official with ABC Inc., headed the corporate communication unit of Toyota, and directed several publicity campaign for Save the Children.
