The country is set to release a blueprint of its cooperation plans with African countries for the next 10 years. The plan, which is expected to be unveiled at a three-day event in Hanoi starting August 17, will focus on food security, trade, investment, agriculture and human resource development, Deputy Foreign Minister Doan Xuan Hung said, according to Vietnam Business News. The Hanoi event, dubbed “Vietnam-Africa: cooperation for mutual sustainable development,” will feature representatives from both parties who will discuss means to deepen Vietnam and Africa’s cooperation in various areas.
