French Development Agency Director-General Dov Zerah is heading to Vietnam this week to sign a loan agreement aimed at supporting socio-economic development efforts in Ho Chi Minh City.
The signing of the €20 million ($29.6 million) financing agreement will take place on May 5 between Zerah, French ambassador to Vietnam Jean Francois Girault and Vietnamese Finance Minister Vu Van Ninh, VOV News reports.
The funding will be used to build social housing and educational institutions, improve the capacity and care of hospitals, and modernize waste collection and management in the Asian country’s largest city.
