As part of a series of conversations to help our community understand how COVID-19 is impacting workplaces and careers, I sat down RTI International’s senior vice president for strategic talent management, Bucky Fairfax, to discuss how the organization’s global workforce — comprised of 6,000 people, most of whom are fully remote — is adjusting to the current crisis.

Fairfax discusses the challenges of disseminating information across a distributed team but also the opportunities to build in inclusivity and equalize access to leadership. As RTI International prepares to respond to the coronavirus crisis through its programming, it has also opened up calls for experts to join its talent community.
