Webinar: How the EU is spending on development

As the European Union prepares for its next budget cycle, known as the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework, development actors are paying close attention to the many proposals and funding targets put forth by the European Commission, European Parliament, and individual member states.

While prioritizing increased funding for certain thematic areas — climate change, gender equality, and migration — as well as for specific regions like sub-Saharan Africa, the budget negotiations have also been informed by a number of structural changes.
