Since Jan. 24, we have explored the deep impact of the Trump administration’s policies and funding cuts, and one of the most crucial areas affected is global health. Despite this, there are still a relatively large number of employment opportunities in the sector.
Data from the Devex job board showed a total of 3,086 jobs posted from Jan. 1, 2025, onward, with opportunities across different locations and organization types such as multilateral agencies, international NGOs, and philanthropic organizations. The top-hiring countries include the United States with 284 jobs, India with 145 jobs, and Kenya with 113 jobs.
Out of all these, 1,145 jobs from 153 recruiting organizations have their salary information shared with Devex and were included in this article. All salaries were converted into U.S. dollars and on an annual basis for uniformity. The highest-paying role out of all jobs was for an executive vice president at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with an annual salary of $470,000.
