The World Bank has granted a $100 million loan to Argentina in support of urban transportation development in Buenos Aires, the nation’s capital. The loan follows a $200 million World Bank funding in 1997 and is part of a two-year $3.3 billion project on sustainable growth, social inclusion, and better government, which the World Bank endorsed last year.
