World Bank OKs Indian state road tunnel projects

The World Bank has given the go signal for six projects involving the construction of road tunnels in Himachal Pradesh, with four of the projects to be developed in the Indian state’s capital, Shimla. The list of projects includes the 1,705-meter tunnel project on National Highway 21 in Chandigarh Manali, between Kanchimore and Mela.
