Senior officials of the Yemeni and U.S. governments sat down to discuss the two countries’ cooperation. The meeting was held April 30 between visiting Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim Al-Arhabi and U.S. Undersecretary of State for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs Robert Hormats in Washington.
The talks explored how both nations can boost development and economic cooperation and reviewed the actions taken by Yemen to enhance its investment climate. The two officials also examined Yemen’s implementation of reforms and relations with the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
