UNICEF Deputy Representative Elspeth Erickson has observed that Zambia has recorded a reduction in new HIV infections among adults. In an interview, Erickson said the increase in Mother-To-Child Transmission (MTCT) of HIV access to anti-retroviral drugs and effective behavior change have effectively helped Zambia in the fight against HIV/AIDS. This can be evidenced by the reduction in new HIV infections among Zambian adults," she said.
