Zambia is set to receive $155.3 million – $79 million from the Netherlands and $76.3 million from Sweden – for its AIDS and other health programs. Swedish ambassador Christina Rehlen said the package will be disbursed over a period of five years. Zambia has one of the world’s highest HIV/AIDS prevalence rates, with around 20 percent of its 10 million people having contracted the disease.
