4-H is a Positive Youth Development Organization that empowers young people with the skills needed to solve problems in their communities. 4-H programs currently reaches over 70,000 youth in Ghana.
History
4-H programs started in the USA in 1902, where young people led the transformation of agriculture by serving as conduit to transfer technology into communities. Realizing the power of the youth to bring change, the 4-H Concept is now applied to the development of the youth in over 70 countries around the world, 15 in Africa.
4-H Ghana started in the year 2000 and became a hub of excellence in promoting Enterprise School Garden in Ghana and Across Africa.
