•Resources Sector - To deliver successful resource sector projects, the design and building process needs to involve and satisfy many stakeholders, in addition to the Client. Assaí has developed methods and processes that combine local knowledge and resources with international good practice, working within mining companies' formal operating systems. We draw on organisational and local community knowledge and resources to significantly influence project design and implementation.

•International Development - Assai has significant experience throughout the Asia Pacific region (over 200 projects) in all aspects of designing and delivering appropriate designs, facilities, infrastructure and community building processes within a development context. We work with communities, government and funders to ensure the beneficiaries are consulted and participate in decisions. Our unique consultative approach involves elicitng stakeholder needs and goals through transparent workshop methods.

•Indigenous Australia - We have developed a portfolio of community participation processes that allow local communities to express their own culture and background within the framework of international good practice and formal systems. We collaborate with Indigenous communities to develop and build sustainable external environments and social infrastructure.

•Strategic Workplaces - Assaí specialises in translating corporate strategy and culture into the spatial design of new workplaces. We work with clients to incrementally improve their workplaces throughout the continuous facilities change process known as 'churn'.

•Knowledge Management - Assaí specialises in Knowledge Management (KM) and the effective use of ICT (Information and Communication Tools) in a Development context.
