The National Agency for Vocational Training (AGEFOP) is a public institution of Industrial and Commercial (EPIC), established by Decree No. 92-316 of 15 May 1992 and amended by Decree No. 2012-987 of 10 October 2012.
Mission
The AGEFOP is an organization whose mission is to support economic development by developing tools and approaches for better qualification of all segments of the population. In this capacity, it is responsible for:
- conduct prospecting and analysis of vocational training needs;
- to conduct studies related professional sectors to analyze the economic and social environment;
- develop vocational training projects according to the needs expressed or detected;
- to design tools to provide quality training (curricula, job repositories, skills benchmarks, training standards, teaching guides, etc.);
- provide advice to guide active populations in the choice of trades;
- evaluate the training actions to assess their relevance;
- manage and coordinate the vocational training projects for which it is responsible.
