Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF)
About

The Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) is Australia’s leading organisation committed to preventing alcohol and other drug harms in communities. The foundation was established in 1959 to support the many post-war veterans who were suffering from alcohol dependence as a release from the trauma of war. An empathetic and humane approach has always been central to work. ADF works to build strong communities, to advocate for policy, funding and regulation change that supports healthy people, and to change the national culture when it comes to drugs and alcohol.

The Alcohol and Drug Foundation acknowledges the peoples and elders of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australia, and upholds and respects their respective relations to this land.
