In early 2011, a group representing a broad range of interests, met to explore what might be achieved by a coalition dedicated to protecting patient safety online. The Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies EU is the direct result.
Participants in ASOP EU are united by a single mission that together, we can create an environment that enables patients to buy their medicines online safely, in countries where it is legal for them to do so. ASOP EU does not campaign for the introduction of online pharmacy where it is not already legal.
