About

MISSION
To Build a sustainable healthcare system in remote and marginalized areas in Africa, and on Idjwi Island,

A forgotten island in the Democratic Republic of Congo

WHY DOES IDJWI MATTER?

A PLACE OF PEACE AND PROGRESS

Due to years of political neglect and war, the political, economic, and social infrastructure is in shambles and the consequences are dire. Despite the lack of support, the people of Idjwi are committed to making their community and the world a better place. Amani Global Works is helping the community in Idjwi accomplish those goals.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY

The island is small, with a population of more than 250,000. Although the region is extremely poor, the people remain positive, hopeful, and dedicated. Your donation goes to training the people of Idjwi to be able to improve their community themselves.

PROGRESS GOES UP AND OUT

Amani Global Works recognizes that poor health is both a cause and effect of poverty. While economic development drives growth, it cannot occur where basic health care is lacking.
