Founded by Alexey Navalny in 2011, FBK investigates, exposes and fights corruption among high-ranking Russian government officials.

It is financed solely by donations from its supporters. FBK research and investigate cases of corruption and illicit enrichment, prepare documents for legal action and appeal to Russia’s Investigative Committee, the Department of Justice and the Public Utility Services.
