Africa AHEAD are a dedicated group of development practitioners, researchers, and academics based in Africa seeking to ensure best practice in our countries. As the architects of the CHC Model we have had 20 years practical experience of this model and are here to support the replication and scale up of this approach to local practitioners in developing countries.
Africa AHEAD also provides assistance to any NGO or Government programme wanting to use the Community Health Club Approach for sustainable, integrated development. The organization's experienced team of CHC trainers based in South, West and East Africa, can design a programme and provide training that will in achieve hygiene behaviour change within one year of start up.

To empower women in particular so that, as leaders in a fully functional Community, they are able to effectively control all preventable diseases and substantially alleviate poverty in their areas and raise living standards for their family.
Mission
To enable Government Ministries, Agencies, and NGOs to roll out Sustainable, Integrated development programmes at Scale through Institutionalisation (SISI) of the Community Health Club model in national programmes in all developing countries so as to alleviate poverty, discrimination, ignorance and disease.
