ASHINAGA is a non-profit organization in Japan. Since it was founded in 1969, more than 60,000 orphans have graduated from schools with ASHINAGA scholarship support. The name "ASHINAGA" is a Japanese translation of the title of the American novel "Daddy Long Legs". They hope that their orphans receive an education equal to that of ordinary children.

A support based on philanthropic (friendly human love) spirit from society widely to provide educational support and mental care to orphans (*), a society in which human dignity is not threatened while spreading a chain of kindness around the world aim for parents whose parents died or whose parents have significant disability

Mission

Develop human resources rich in volunteerism that can contribute to human society through material and mental support and education for all orphan.

Society they aim for:

  • A society where all orphans around the world have equal opportunities for education
  • A society where mental care is provided to all orphans worldwide
  • A circle of solidarity of orphans spreads around the world, and a society where they live together while supporting each other
