The Association for Solidarity is a Non-Governmental Organization for Development (NGOD), non-profit, linked to the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer . It is born from the work carried out for years by some groups of young people committed to the Redemptorist Youth Ministry and as a way to continue in the option for the poor.

It aims to be the channel of the entire Spanish Redemptorist Province for collaboration with the development of the Southern Countries, and as a platform for Volunteering.

Purpose:

• -Promote and carry out cooperation and development projects with Third World countries.
• -Provide a comprehensive education of the person (with special emphasis on young people), promoting values ​​of solidarity, responsibility, justice and work for peace from the commitment to the neighborhood, the city and international coexistence.
• -Promote social volunteering.
• -Develop cooperation actions for the development of the most disadvantaged communities in their environment.

The Association for Solidarity promotes projects for development in these countries, as well as a volunteer program to learn about the reality of the countries of the South. Each project is born and responds to a concrete need for the development of a community in a country of the South, and the contributions are conveyed through the missionaries and volunteers who request it from the field and supervise its realization.
