About

The Association for the Defense of the Rights of the Displaced is an officially registered nonprofit organization operating in the 1948 areas among the masses of the displaced.

Since the Nakba of 1948, to this day, the issue of displaced persons in Israel has not been dealt with since the declaration of the absentees. Their movable and immovable properties were confiscated by award laws, their homes were demolished, their villages and towns were destroyed, and the displaced were prevented from returning to their lands in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Approximately 250,000 people have been displaced within Israel in the Arab villages and cities that they have hosted since 1948.

The Qatar Committee for the Defense of the Rights of the Internally Displaced in Israel was formed to raise the voice of the displaced to the world and to the local public that the displaced are an integral part of the people. To a Palestinian and that they exist and demand to return to their villages and cities.
