The Association of Regional Development Agencies (ARDA) is a network for the implementation of Kosovo and EU policies and is an independent, non-governmental organization established in January 2013 by the five Regional Development Agencies (North, East, West, South and Centre) in Kosovo.
ARDA's mission is to coordinate and promote regional and rural development in Kosovo and to support the five Regional Development Agencies (RDA's) in taking a leading role in planning and facilitating the socio-economic and regional development of Kosovo. The ARDA network operates in all five economic regions (North, South, East, West and Centre) in Kosovo and coordinates the cooperation and networking of the RDA's to contribute to the accelerated regional development of Kosovo. A key task of ARDA is to facilitate partnership and collaboration amongst national and local government, the business community and civil society initiatives.
ARDA activities are aimed at assisting stakeholders at national and local level in their efforts to develop regional economic development strategies and facilitate the development of national regional development policies.
