The BBVA Microfinance Foundation is a non-profit organization created by the BBVA Group in May 2007 within the framework of its corporate social responsibility. It was born from the purpose of linking its social action projects with the activity of the financial sector and, specifically, with financial inclusion, offering its 150 years of banking experience in a totally philanthropic way.
Productive Finance is the methodology of the BBVA Microfinance Foundation and its group of microfinance entities, whose final objective is client development. With personalized attention that responds to the needs of the vulnerable entrepreneur, they bring a wide range of financial services (credit, insurance, savings, etc.) to their home-business. It also includes comprehensive customer support, developing their financial and business culture, through advice and training.
