BGH was founded in 1913 as a wholesale hardware store that, over the years, became a distributor and marketer of household appliances. In 1958, through a partnership with Motorola, it began selling televisions and radios in Argentina. In 1963 he founded SICOM, the first alliance with Motorola to build communications systems in Argentina.

In 1967 industrial activity began in Argentina and in 1978 the factory in Tierra del Fuego was launched. In 1989 BGH was a key partner in launching the first cellular communications network in association with MOVICOM.

BGH Tech Partner was founded in 2003, focused on Infrastructure and Telecommunications, evolving over the years to represent Cisco, Huawei, Motorola, Oracle, SAP, AWS and Google, and become one of the key partners for these brands in Latin America.
