About

Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA) is a private limited company created by a public-private initiative to make Casablanca a regional financial hub in Africa. CFCA was created in July 2010 with a very high profile round table representative of the Kingdom's financial landscape, including Bank Al Maghrib, the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion.

In June 2014, following the promulgation of Law 68-12 which amends and supplements Law 44-10, the name of Casablanca Finance City Authority replaced the former name of the Moroccan Financial Board.

Law 44-10 on the CFC statute, as amended and supplemented by Law 68-12 and their implementing decrees, entrusted CFCA with the overall management and institutional promotion of Casablanca Finance City. The implementing decree of the said law created the SWC commission, responsible for granting this status, and charged Casablanca Finance City Authority with the secretariat of this commission.

Mission

These missions are regularly monitored by a strategic committee composed of the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Governor of Bank Al Maghrib and higher-level representatives of the Kingdom's main institutions and financial authorities.
