Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD)

Year after year, CAFOD promotes long-term development, respond to emergencies, raise awareness of poverty, speak out on behalf of poor communities, and promote social justice. The work is broad-ranging, across countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, helping the world’s poorest communities, and those affected by conflict or natural disaster. CAFOD also use funds to increase awareness of the causes of poverty, helping people campaign to bring about change, and to speak out on behalf of poor communities, challenging governments and international bodies to promote equality and justice.
