Catholic Intelligence Club

The Catholic Intelligentsia Club in Warsaw is an association of Christians, mostly secular Catholics, who want to build solidarity for the common good. They understand the concept of intelligence as an ethical category. In this definition, they see the challenge to develop the acquired talents, improve their skills, expand acquired knowledge, and share everything with others, thus serving the common good. As Catholic intelligentsia, they try to create an environment animated by the spirit of community and a climate of dialogue; they strive to deepen their faith, they learn responsibility for the Church and for the shape of Christianity in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council. Their aspiration is to change the surrounding world so that it becomes closer to Jesus Christ and his Gospel. They work with their Metropolitan and other bishops in many areas of religious and social life. They are not a church organization and despite their unity with the hierarchy, they are independent of it. As a non-governmental organization, they are also independent of state and local government.
