About

Cedar Seed Foundation (CSF) is a youth led non-governmental, non-profit and non-sectarian membership based development organization established in 2011 with the mission of providing services that support persons with disabilities to participate in all aspects of life by mainstreaming their issues and concerns into national development agenda based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. CSF was formally registered at CAC in 2013 with reg no 63008.

Their Vision: To create a world where disabled people will actively participate in the society and enjoy equal human rights.

Their Mission: To facilitate an enabling environment and provide services that support disabled people in Nigeria.

Their Objective as a foundation is:

1. To strengthen and educate the capacity of persons with disabilities particularly children.
2. To promote awareness on the rights of persons with disabilities.
3. To collaborate with key stakeholders in establishing linkages for access to social services.
4. To empower persons with disabilities with skills that will make them independent.
