The Sector Center for Vocational Training in Food Industries (CSFP IAA) is the result of a public / private partnership, within the framework of Franco-Senegalese cooperation. Initiated and managed by the professional organizations (SPIDS and CNES) the CSFP IAA aims to participate in the improvement of the competitiveness of companies in the agri-food sector and related sectors (packaging, plastics, pharmaceutical industry ... etc.) by a better qualification of human resources.

THEIR MISSIONS

A real professional training tool for all UEMOA and ECOWAS countries, the CSFP IAA aims to:

• Strengthen the skills of actors through continuous training.
• Prepare the skills of tomorrow by an innovative initial training device based on the APC (Competence-Based Approach) and alternating Center / Enterprise, in order to have a better match Training / Employment.
• Provide agri-food sector stakeholders with consulting and assistance solutions through the realization of personalized diagnoses, support for some of their unit operations, assistance (technical level) to the implementation of adapted equipment their production and benefit objectives.

THEIR STRENGTHS

• A unique technological platform in West Africa of more than 1,000 m2, on an industrial scale and with European sanitary standards.
• A team of trainers from industry
• A wide range of training and delivery to meet the needs of national stakeholders and the sub region.

Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the training complex of more than 2,000 m2 includes:

• 1,000 m2 of technical training space on an industrial scale, with European sanitary standards and under controlled temperature (food processing process hall, conditioning room, freezing room, freezing tunnel, cold room, etc.)
• Three complementary training workshops (maintenance of agro-food equipment, management of industrial systems, automation & industrial electricity)
• Laboratories (chemistry, microbiology and sensory analysis)
• Five training rooms including a multimedia computer room and a documentation and information center.
