Centre for Development Management (CDM)
About

Centre for Development Management (CDM) was established, with the understanding that for the Malawi Government, development partners, the private sector and the Civil Society Organizations to reduce poverty of the people, they require affordable but high quality development technical assistance to support design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of national policies and programmes.

CDM was formed and begun its operations on November 1, 2002 by Bright Sibale, who was later Peter Jere as a Partner. CDM was registered with the Registrar of Companies in January 2003. Since then, the facility has been working with many national, regional and international partners in four main sectors: Agriculture and Food Security, Environment and Natural Resources, Social Sectors (Health and Education) and Gender and HIV and AIDS.

Within the four sectors, CDM provides the following products and services: research and training, consultancy, project management, policy formulation, monitoring and evaluation services, capacity building and events management. CDM has worked in most SADC countries and well as in the East African Community (EAC). Since 2002, CDM has implemented about 350 projects in 10 countries in Africa.
