The Center for Civic Collaboration (CCC) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization whose mission is to foster a culture and capacity for dialogue, collaboration and peaceful conflict resolution in Mexico, as well as to enable processes of change that of plural dialogue- promote democratic strengthening, sustainable development and the rule of law. Since its creation in 2005, the CCC is part of an international network of organizations dedicated to the peaceful resolution of conflicts called Partners for Democratic Change International. The CCC has a team of experts in negotiation, mediation, facilitation of dialogues and consensus building.
They mainly work with:
· Organized groups that collaborate in a consensus-building process and want to make this experience an opportunity for shared learning and growth.
· Decision makers at any level who wish to give sustainability to their government management by opening spaces for purposeful citizen participation.
· Individuals and organizations who want to enhance their communication skills and effective negotiation skills.
How They Work
The CCC uses various methodologies aimed at building a space, both for substantive analysis, planning and decision-making, as well as strengthening the bonds of trust, communication and cooperation between those involved.
In addition to the following methodologies, the facilitators are trained in the management of effective communication tools, collaborative negotiation, multi-stakeholder dialogue, and participatory planning, which will be an integral complement in the facilitation process.
