China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd. (CET) is a wholly owned subsidiary of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) as well as the operation platform and implementer of SGCC in carrying out international EPC business. The core business of CET includes power EPC, integration and supply of power equipment, power grid scheduling, operation and maintenance, support in project planning, design, consulting, investment and financing. CET undertakes EPC projects including domestic and foreign transnational and trans-regional grid UHV power transmission and transformation, flexible DC power transmission, smart grid, power system automation and all voltage grade power transmission and distribution as well as supporting complete sets of equipment, power grid scheduling, operation and maintenance, and other services. CET also provides a package solution from project planning, survey, design, finance, procurement, construction and operation.

CET has carried out business operation with more than 40 countries in Asia, Africa, South America, the Middle East, Europe and other regions. The business model covers concessionary loan, Buyer’s credit, Seller’s credit, EPC, and so on. It has implemented more than 200 projects cumulatively in design, construction, supply, and technical service.

In 2015, the amount of CET’s newly signed contract for international business reached 21 billion yuan. CET had been listed as one of ENR 250 largest contracting firms in terms of the overseas project operating income in the world, and ranked 9th in the top 100 enterprises of foreign project contracting businesses in China. CET is one of AAA grade credit enterprises of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products and China International Contractors Association, and a large export-oriented enterprise supported by China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation.
