Community Change is a national organization that empowers low-income people, particularly people of color, to create a multiracial democracy and a fair economy where everyone can thrive.

Mission

The organization works to build the power and capacity of low-income people, especially low-income people of color, to influence the policies and institutions that affect their lives.

History

Community Change was founded in 1968 by leaders from the civil rights, labor, and anti-poverty movements.
