Congo Terre d’Espoir (CTE - Congo Land of Hope) is an association created in 2005 to help develop health and social services in Congo - Brazzaville.
Congo Terre d’Espoir is designed primarily for medical activities. They relate mainly to preventive and curative actions to populations in the Republic of Congo during periods of stability and conflict, medical research, training of health personnel. When medical action alone does not achieve the desired result, other interventions can be developed in the areas of water supply, sanitation, nutrition, shelter.
The promotion of quality education is also part of scope of Congo Terre d’Espoir. This line of work is to form partnerships with developers of public and private institutions to implement actions that are committed to excellence in schools and universities.
Goals
Congo Terre d’Espoir aims to:
- Contribute to socio-health of the Congolese population.
- Provide humanitarian assistance to populations in disasters.
- Promote scientific research.
- Promote quality education.

Activities of Congo Terre d’Espoir are divided into four departments:
Medical Department:
-Curative medical activities.
-Responses to medical emergencies.
-School health activities.
-Immunization, supplementation, deworming, nutritional screening.
-Training medical and paramedical staff.
-Information centers in public health.
Department of Community Activities:
-Water-Sanitation-Hygiene.
-Communication for behavior change.
-Non-medical support to groups - Local Associations.
-Construction-rehabilitation.

-Award for Excellence in schools and universities.

-Operations Research.
