Consejo Nacional De Calidad (El Salvador)
The CNC is responsible for coordinating with the Salvadoreño system in Calidad, and finance the competition in the productivity sector.
The National Quality Council (CNC) is the institution responsible for guaranteeing and directing compliance with the National Quality Policy of El Salvador.
Therefore, the Council has the responsibility of being the governing body of the SSC, in order to fulfill a series of tasks that are fundamental for the economic and social development of the country.
However, the CNC is made up of four technical bodies with well-defined and interrelated powers and powers.
• Salvadoran Standardization Agency (OSN)
• Salvadoran Agency for Technical Regulation (OSARTEC)
• Salvadoran Accreditation Body (OSA)
• Metrology Research Center (CIM)
Through the directive lines of the CNC and the technical execution of the four Organizations, the System contributes to protecting the rights of consumers and the enjoyment of a healthy environment, guaranteeing the safety and quality of products and ensuring the health of the persons.
Develop, strengthen and facilitate the efficient and harmonious operation of the Salvadoran Quality System, aimed at generating the confidence of the population regarding safety and quality in the production, import, marketing, use and consumption of goods and services through standardization, accreditation, technical regulation and metrology.
Integrate a quality infrastructure with national and international recognition that promotes competitiveness, compliance with the rights of consumers, and human, animal and plant health in all sectors.See more
