A better future is possible despite the endless list of problems confronting Africa. However, to achieve this future, a critical mass of people will need to take action to drive sustainable development at the community and institutional levels.

The 17 Sustainable development goals, as ratified by the United Nations, have provided a blueprint on how they can attain a sustainable future and stop the vicious cycle of poverty, but it’s just a blueprint; without actions to power it, nothing will happen.

They believe that Individual and collective action at scale at the Institutional and Community levels holds the true power to building the Africa of their dreams, so they are building a critical mass of 1billion+ people taking action to drive sustainable development in Africa, one action and community at a time.

So for DO, the conversation is not about the problems anymore. The question is: “what will you do to drive sustainable development?”
