Education Pioneers
About

Education Pioneers is an American non-profit organization that aims to increase the talent supply of top leaders in education to improve the leadership capacity in key education organizations—such as school districts, charter school organizations, and nonprofits—and to advance their goal to make education the best led and managed sector in the U.S..

Programs

Education Pioneers operates two programs: the Graduate School Fellowship, which has 10-week (summer) and yearlong placements, and the Analyst Fellowship, which has 10-month placements. Through these two Fellowships, Education Pioneers’ Fellows impact education through consulting work, receive professional development, and launch careers across the sector. Upon successful completion of their Fellowships, Fellows become a part of Education Pioneers’ nationwide network and receive ongoing programming, career support, and leadership training. More than 70% of Education Pioneers’ employed Alumni work full -time in education.

Graduate School Fellowship

Education Pioneers’ flagship program, the Graduate School Fellowship, attracts graduate students and graduates from business, law, policy, and education programs for a summer or yearlong Fellowship with an education organization. Fellows combine their professional experiences and skills with the knowledge they have gained in graduate school to lend consulting support to education organizations. In addition, Education Pioneers trains Fellows on education issues and leadership practices, and connects them to a network of education leaders and professionals.

Analyst Fellowship

The Analyst Fellowship is a 10-month leadership development program for early-career, trained business analysts to step into the education sector to help improve data use and expertise in education organizations. Analyst Fellows support education organizations in ways such as developing long-term growth strategies, gathering and analyzing performance data, and conducting financial analysis. Education Pioneers supplements the work experiences of its Analyst Fellows with leadership training, workshops focused on key education issues, and access to a network of leaders in the education sector.
