About

FTTC is a nonprofit organization established by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) as the first specialized training center in export promotion. FTTC establishment came to support the Egyptian Government’s clear vision towards a competitive and comprehensive trade scheme, setting export promotion as a priority for the next decade.

The Centre was established in year 2001 after thorough studies and several steps that had been conducted by the Egyptian Ministry in collaboration with the Japanese Government represented by: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and
Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

The idea was born in 1996 by the Egyptian Government request submitted to the Government of Japan for the technical cooperation to establish a training center with the aim of the human resource development in trade issues and business skills.
