About

MISSION

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) aims to support disadvantaged communities in developing their capacities and enhancing their potential. This, in order to reach a common vision of their future by providing the necessary support for their reinforcement and financing the priority projects identified by these communities. As a result, it constitutes one of the instruments used by the government within the framework of its fight against poverty.

The institution has a hierarchical internal structure comprising a General Management and seven different directorates: the Administrative Department (DA), the Financial Department (DF), the Directorate of Promotion and Institutional Strengthening (DPRI), the Projects Directorate Social Affairs (DPS), the Directorate of Economic Initiatives (DIE), the Directorate of Monitoring and Evaluation (DSE) and the Directorate of the Fight Against Poverty (DLCP)

These central structures work in the implementation of programs and projects with five (5) Regional Offices located in the departments of Northeast (Fort-Liberté), North-West (Jean Rabel), Center (Hinche), South (Aquin), South-East (Jacmel) and in the West (Leogane).
