The Foundation

The General Foundation of the University of Valladolid, created in 1996, is a non-profit organization whose fundamental mission is to cooperate in fulfilling the purposes of the University of Valladolid.

This mission is translated into the following tasks:

• Promotion of technology transfer and promotion of innovation.
• Contribution to the training and improvement of students, graduates and qualified professionals.
• Promotion of knowledge of other languages ​​and dissemination of Spanish.
• Promotion of employment and professional development of students and university graduates.
• To be the instrument of liaison and management between the University of Valladolid, companies and other public or private institutions, for the proposal of activities, fund raising and financing thereof, as well as its dissemination.
• Administration of the Clinical Area of ​​the University Institute of Applied Ophthalmobiology (IOBA) of the University of Valladolid.
• Administration of the Palacio de Congresos and several university residences.
