The Fundación Grupo de Accion y Apoyo a Trans-GAAT is a social organization that works for the defense and vindication of human rights and the full citizenship of people with Trans life experiences, their families and support networks in the city of Bogota Colombia. Since 2008, the GAAT develops its work through strategies and tools that enhance the individual and collective capacities of the population to develop worthy identity construction processes and promote safe and autonomous transits, in order to impact publicly and politically on the transformation of social, legislative and institutional dynamics at national and international level.

Vision:

By the year 2025, the GAAT Foundation will be recognized as an organization that contributes to the improvement of the living conditions of Trans people. Likewise, it will be a benchmark in Colombia for research, production of information and placing the needs of Trans people in the public agendas and policies at the national level.Empowering new leadership for the defense and vindication of the human rights of people with life experiences Trans.
